At Rekindle we create and share opportunities for resourcefulness by promoting the skills and knowledge involved in creating what we need from what we have. We see resourcefulness as creating carefully what we need from the life within us and around us, for the wellbeing of planet and people. We transform local resources through care and craft, this being the opposite of wastefulness. Resourcefulness requires us to utilise and value our inner resources and our ability to access to what we need for lives we value. Being truly resourceful connects us within communities as we share the resources we have.
Since the beginning of Rekindle in 2010 in Auckland, then Christchurch, we have run various different projects that have been inherently focused on resourcefulness; some small, some as big as a whole house! Please see the Projects tab above for more details.
