Resourceful Craft Talks
Resourceful Craft Talks are an opportunity to hear from craftspeople, makers, and thinkers whose work explores the relationship between people, materials, place, and the skills that connect them. Join us for an evening of stories, ideas, and conversation, with time to connect with others who share an interest in making and living more resourcefully.
Our first Resourceful Craft Talk features Imogen (Mo) McRae, a traditional craftswoman whose practice is grounded in the belief that many modern challenges can be met through traditional knowledge, practical making, and crafts passed down through generations. Mo will share her journey of rediscovering traditional crafts, particularly the tanning of hides to create beautiful natural leather, and reflect on how these practices fit within the natural cycles of life. Join us for an evening of stories, learning, questions, and conversation.
