Become a Rekindle volunteer in Ōtautahi Christchurch and help bring traditional craft, resourcefulness and connection to life.
Throughout the year, volunteers support our workshops, talks and community events across Ōtautahi Christchurch. Whether it's creating a welcoming atmosphere, helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, or lending a practical hand, every contribution helps us share traditional craft and resourcefulness with more people.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Welcoming participants at workshops and talks.
- Helping set up and pack down venues.
- Supporting tutors during larger workshops.
- Assisting at talks and community events.
- Helping with other projects as opportunities arise.
There is no minimum commitment. Some people volunteer once or twice a year, while others enjoy being involved more regularly. We'll let you know when opportunities become available, and you're free to decide whether each one suits your interests and availability.
