Imogen (Mo) McRae is a traditional craftsperson born and raised in Aotearoa, now sharing skills and knowledge she learned during time spent in Norway. Her practice is grounded in the belief that many modern challenges can be met through traditional knowledge, practical making, and crafts passed down through generations.

Join us for an evening with Imogen McRae as she shares her journey in rediscovering traditional handicrafts, particularly the tanning of hides to create beautiful natural leather. A key theme of the evening will be how these practices sit within natural cycles of life.

Our MC for the evening will be Steven Junil Park, Rekindle Charitable Trust Board Chair, established artist working across collaborative multidisciplinary fields, and recent recipient of a New Zealand Arts Foundation Springboard Award.

There is plenty of parking at the venue and teas, coffees and light refreshments will be available as part of your ticket.
