Join Gemma to assemble a versatile whisk style brush, ideal for sweeping crumbs, wood shavings, or the front door step. After preparing tī kōuka fibres, you’ll learn a European twining technique to create strong, even cordage—a valuable skill that can be applied to many other craft projects. As you work, you’ll connect with handwork methods and gain an appreciation for the materials and binding techniques. By the end, you’ll have a sturdy, handmade tool ready for instant and everyday use.
(Entirely optional — all necessary materials will be supplied)
Bookings are non-refundable. If for any reason (this includes illness, travel delays, and injuries) you need to cancel your workshop, you will receive a refund minus a $30 administration fee. This is provided you contact us at least 14 full days before your booking.
