Spoon club is a place to practise and refresh your green wood carving skills with like-minded individuals. If you have attended a spoon carving workshop with us, or elsewhere, join this monthly spoon carving club and enjoy honing your spoon carving skills while encouraging others in their practice.
Spoon blanks can be provided for $12.50 each, purchasable with cash or via bank deposit on the night.
Please note:
This is not a beginners spoon carving workshop and no tuition is provided.
Bookings and advanced spoon blank orders are essential, including for those that have already purchased an annual membership.
Your Host
Douglas has taught spoon carving since 2017 and makes hand-carved useful items such as spoons, cups, and bowls, as well as pole-lathe–turned pieces and other green-wood crafts. He also forges some of his own tools from repurposed steel. Douglas teaches spoon, cup, and bowl carving, along with sharpening, and hosts the monthly Spoon Club sessions. @cleftcraft
