Rekindle furniture is made to order.

At this time this applies to most of our products, and this means when you buy here online you enable us to make your purchases for you. We will contact you after you have ordered furniture to discuss your order and to confirm when the furniture will be ready. This means when ordering Rekindle furniture you won't get your products immediately, the current maximum lead-time for delivery is 16 weeks from processing of payment. Jewellery and other smaller products will be with you sooner, taking up to 2-3 weeks at a maximum to arrive. If you do have a specific timeframe you require the product/s within, please tell us and we will do all we can to achieve this. Should you have any other queries call or email us to discuss.


This online store uses Paypal, which safely processes major credit/debit cards. For other payments please contact us, we can also accept bank transfers by arrangement. All prices on the Rekindle online store are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) inclusive of 15% goods and services tax (GST).

Shipping & Delivery

We are only shipping within New Zealand at this time, but we'd love to consider international orders so please do email us and we can get a shipping quote for you.

Shipping costs are added in automatically by this website, but if you wish to avoid shipping costs by picking up products in Christchurch please email info@rekindle.org.nz. We will then refund the shipping charged to you on the this site fully. Also if the formula used for gauging shipping cost to your address is significantly inaccurate to your combined order we will inform you quick smart and make it good.

We will process your order within 2–5 working days and be in touch. You will be contacted when your order is ready to be sent. Your items will be dispatched as soon as they are complete. Standard Courier delivery for the North Island will take 5-10 working days from the time of dispatch from Christchurch. Standard Courier delivery for the South Island will take 3-5 working days. Rekindle will contact you to confirm details of the delivery. Specialist freight deliveries NZ wide can vary from 5 – 15 working days, dependent on the truck schedules and your location. All Rekindle items are professionally packed for protection.

If you have received a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 10 days of receipt of the item at info@rekindle.org.nz.

In the case of faulty or damaged items Rekindle will make every reasonable effort to replace or credit the item as soon as possible. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. You will be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part. If your item is damaged whilst in transit, please take a photograph of the damage and notify us immediately so we can start procedures with the freight company involved and replace your product.

Collecting your information

We collect your contact information about you via Paypal to be able to communicate with you after you jhave made your order. We do not use this information other than this unless we are required to release personal information only when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; facilitate court proceedings; enforce or apply our terms and conditions; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Rekindle, our users, or others.

Types of information we collect

We have access to the personal information you give us (including, without limitation, your name, email address, phone number, and postal address) via the payment process via Paypal. This enables us to successfully process your order.

Website and credit card security

We take website and credit card security seriously, and strive to provide a secure safe platform on which to conduct online transactions.  We use Paypal as it uses the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts your information as it is transmitted over the internet, this encryption scrambles details such as credit card number, billing details and delivery address so that generally, other computers are unable to decipher the information, ensuring privacy and security. To make sure you are accessing a secure server whilst using Paypal, check for the unbroken key or closed lock symbol located generally either at the bottom left or top right of your browser window. If it appears, then SSL is active. You can double check this by looking at the URL as well, if SSL is active, then the first characters of that line will read ‘https’ rather than just ‘http’. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Ensure you logout when you have finished visiting Paypal, especially if you access the site from a shared computer.

"Paypal Rekindle" will appear on cardholder statements for any transactions through this website.
