Mihi Adams
Mihi (Ngāti Mahuika, Ngāti Hinemanu & Ngāti Kahu) has been weaving for over 15 years and runs her own raranga business, Flax Hut Creations. She studied at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa and has been teaching raranga in a variety of settings since then.
From weaving wahakura for Kāi Tahu babies to her previous role as kaitiaki Pā Harakeke at Manaaki Whenua, Mihi cherishes working with harakeke and has a deep appreciation and understanding of this natural material. She loves the increased wellbeing that come from weaving and wishes to share this calming, balancing craft that is traditional to Aotearoa with others.
