Traditional Storytelling Skills - A Beginner's Guide
An evening of exploring the role of traditional oral storytelling in contemporary life and playing with a few basic skills to bring stories to life.
By understanding and applying the timeless wisdom held within traditional stories we are able to be more conscious, compassionate and resourceful in all aspects of our life and in deep relationship with people, planet and all things in between.
Sharon has a down to earth yet captivating way of telling stories, and it was whilst she was sharing a story at an event that the founder of Necessary Traditions festival heard her and in listening, realised that of course story telling is one of the most necessary of traditions. So we are delighted to share this opportunity for you to meet and learn from Sharon. Imagine your own potential to use storytelling as one of your necessary traditions - it might be subtle in the way you frame up the way you share your ideas, or you might perform your sharing of stories more confidently.
You can find out more about local storytelling events here via the Story Collective.
