Come along and learn how to make a spoon!
This 6 hour workshop is based in the beautiful Brandenburg Coppice, a unique woodland on the Lincoln University campus. This is an opportunity for 6 people per workshop to come and learn to carve a spoon from green timber from the Lincoln University campus.
You will learn basic whittling techniques with a straight & curved whittling knives, and learn all about the ancient traditions of greenwood-working in a stunning outdoor setting.
Please note: This workshop is only suited to those who can work safely without direct supervision with very sharp hand tools. The image below shows the kinds of tools we’ll be using.
After you’ve booked, we’ll send you information re what to bring, wear and how to find us nearer the workshop date.
