Hazel storage rack workshop, Sunday 2 September, 10am-2pm, The Arts Centre

Sunday 2 September, 10am to 2pm - at The Arts Centre

This workshop is held in our workshop, which is located upstairs in the Boys’ High building at 28 Worcester Boulevard.

This useful storage rack is made from hazel saplings harvested locally for you. The rack is made by gently bending hazel into a round and then joining it together with wooden nails. On this day long course you’ll make a rack to take home to store your fruit, vegetables, eggs or anything else you can envision. We can also teach you how to make tī kōuka string to hang the rack too.

There are 8 places available in this workshop and booking is essential, and non-refundable.
