Learning how to hand sew a button hole gives a beautiful useful skill when making or altering your clothes, and this grows your connection with your clothes through this hand-work.
This workshop by Steven Park of 6x4 is a beautiful opportunity to re-engage with ancient art of the hand sewn button hole. This is indeed a necessary tradition.
Steven is running 2 separate workshops at Necessary Traditions:
Hand Darning: Friday November 16th 11am to 12.30pm
Hand Sewn Buttonholes: November 16th 1pm to 2.30pm
Hand Sewn Buttonholes: An item of clothing or other that needs a buttonhole and matching thread if possible
This is a workshop suited for adults only, no children please. Bookings are essential and non-refundable.
