Sculpture

Rekindle supports artists in Canterbury to develop work in response to wood waste from demolition, and our furniture offcuts. We aim to support this work to be seen, and to encourage the sale and hire of works for use in homes, offices, foyers, across a range of commercial spaces. This work naturally brings remembrance and respect of Christchurch's past, of ancient timbers and well-loved weatherboard homes.

These spectacular sculptural works by Tim McGurk are made from discarded materials and rimu offcuts from Rekindle furniture.
These works and others alike are available on commission for sale. Works range in price depending on size, larger pieces start from $6000.00.

Kara Burrowes

Artist Kara Burrowes has taken small rough offcuts from our workshop and delicately put them together creating these intricate panels of pattern, texture and colour.

Works like these are available on commission, or for hire. Works range in price depending on size, and commissions start from approximately $500.00.
