We are delighted to be preparing to release our first series of films as online craft workshops.
These films have been made by Hilary Jean Tapper, and will be an enduring resource to support your learning and practice of a new resourceful craft.
Very soon you'll find a number of opportunities to learn new resourceful crafts including: making string from tī kōuka (cabbage tree) leaves with Gemma Stratton, basket weaving with tī kōuka with Juliet Arnott, mat weaving with tī kōuka with Juliet Arnott, & making little tī kōuka folk with Gemma Stratton.
Here is a sample of the workshops in the making:
We are fortunate to have been supported by Creative New Zealand in making these films. This support means that through these films, we can continue to grow our ability to share craft widely and enable as much participation in craft as possible.
