This workshop is held in our workshop, which is located upstairs in the Boys’ High building at 28 Worcester Boulevard.
Come along and learn how to make a spoon!
You will learn basic whittling techniques with a straight & curved whittling knives, and learn all about the ancient traditions of greenwood-working.
Please note: This workshop is not for children and is only suited to those who can work safely without direct supervision with very sharp hand tools. The image below shows the kinds of tools we’ll be using.
There are 6 places available in this workshop and booking is essential, and non-refundable.
The price covers a portion of the: tutor's wage, workshop rent, materials & the labour to collect them, tools & their maintenance, electricity, insurance & other overheads. We are working to keep workshop prices as low as we possibly can.
