Wednesday 11 December, Peg-making, 5.30–7.30pm, The Arts Centre

At The Arts Centre in the Rekindle Workshop, which is located upstairs in the Boys’ High building at 28 Worcester Boulevard.

This workshop is not just about pegs, it is instead the beginning of you becoming a skilled greenwood-worker!

This workshop will give you the technique for making your own clothes pegs from locally harvested hazel rods, so you will go home with new skills and a few pegs to cherish and use! This workshop will also introduce you to greenwood-working, and to the tools and techniques of this wonderful craft.

This class is suited to adults.

Minimum numbers are required for the class to run.

Bookings are essential, non-refundable and non-transferable. We do, however, understand that things come up and try and accommodate people to the best of our ability. This can include moving people to another class or a refund - but please be aware that this is reliant on us filling the original spot.

This is because all of our pricing, and our efforts to keep costs as low as possible while still paying the tutors a fee commensurate with their experience and allowing them to cover the costs of living, is based on running these classes with a certain number of participants.

We are grateful to the support of CNZ, which has enabled us to offer this workshop at a subsidised rate.
