Sunday 7 July, 10am-12pm, Free class for learning to carve chopsticks for Matariki

Rekindle is grateful for the support of CCC's Enliven Places Fund, which has allowed us to offer this class free of charge to the public. We also wish to thank the Arts Centre for their support of the Matariki programme.

This workshop is held in the Rekindle workshop, which is located upstairs in the Boys’ High building at 28 Worcester Boulevard.

Learn to carve your own chopsticks! Using some local wood and a knife you’ll make some beautiful chopsticks you can treasure and use. Perhaps these might even travel with you and replace disposable chopsticks.

Suitable for ages 10 & over. Young people between 10-16 years will need an adult supervising them one-on-one during the session.

There are 6 places available in this workshop and booking is essential.
