Saturday 18 April, 3–5pm, Make a pocket doll: introduction to dollmaking with Hilary Jean Tapper

(Rekindle Workshop, upstairs in the Boys’ High building at The Arts Centre, 28 Worcester Boulevard)

Learn how to make your own simple doll from the resources you have around you with dollmaker Hilary Jean Tapper. Create an enchanting 12cm doll by hand.

Participants are also welcome to bring any pre-loved fabrics from home that they'd like to make their doll from, as well as sewing materials.

Children 10 years and older are welcome with adult supervision, though capable youngsters 12 and over can attend without adult supervision.

Minimum numbers are required for the class to run.

Bookings are essential, non-refundable and non-transferable. We do, however, understand that things come up and try and accommodate people to the best of our ability. This can include moving people to another class or a refund - but please be aware that this is reliant on us filling the original spot.

This is because all of our pricing, and our efforts to keep costs as low as possible while still paying the tutors a fee commensurate with their experience and allowing them to cover the costs of living, is based on running these classes with a certain number of participants.

We are grateful to the support of CNZ, which has enabled us to offer this workshop at a subsidised rate.
