Come along and learn how to carve a spoon. Beginners are very welcome.
This spoon-carving workshop is held in our Arts Centre workshop, which is located upstairs in the Boys’ High building at 28 Worcester Boulevard.
You will learn basic whittling techniques with a straight & curved whittling knives, and learn all about the ancient traditions of greenwood-working. All tools & materials supplied.
We hope this is the beginning of your green woodworking journey, it is a rewarding craft to practice.
There are 6 places available in this workshop and booking is essential. This workshop is not for children.Please note: This workshop is only suited to those who can work safely without direct supervision with very sharp hand tools. The image below shows the kinds of tools we’ll be using.
