This walk from Corsair Bay car park ( lower) to Pony Point and adjoining Cass Bay offers a good diversity of wild greens, coastal herbs and native and introduced shrubs.The walk is about 2 kilometres each way.
During this wonderful wild foods walk with Peter Langlands we can expect to find up to 50 foragable plants. This will give you the tools to make the most of existing food resources, learn how to identify safe zones to gather wild foods, and to identify and make practical use of wild foods.
Children under 16 to attend with an adult please.
Participants please wear sturdy footwear suitable for walking.
Please bring: Water bottle, small bag or container for collecting samples, a camera and or a notepad, a light rain jacket and sunblock.
This walk will go ahead in wet weather - please dress warmly, bring a rain jacket/umbrella and suitable footwear.
