Learn how to make a three-legged stool with Greg Quinn in this two part workshop. In the first session you will make your stool seat and legs. The legs then need to be dried before fitting, so we will do this for you prior to the next session. You will learn basic whittling techniques with the draw-knife and travisher, and how to wedge a leg into a stool top, and other lovely resourceful skills. You’ll learn all about the ancient traditions of greenwood-working in a stunning outdoor setting.
Please note: This class with Greg Quinn is held in two parts and is weather dependent. You must be able to make the rain dates too. (Session 1: Sunday 30 April (rain date 7 May) and Session 2: Sunday 14 May (rain date 21 May)) This workshop is for adults and only suited to those who can work safely without direct supervision with very sharp hand tools.
