Saturday 25 March, 9.30am-12pm - Hands-on introduction to soap-making

Course Overview

Sonia Barrish will show you how easy soap making can be so that you can build confidence towards making your own soap at home. Together you will make a gentle and non-drying soap that contains shea butter, coconut oil and olive oil. You will also discuss the soap making process and how to develop it to suit your needs. You will go home with a bar of soap to cure and sample.

Please note; Safety is important in this workshop as we will be working with lye. Protective glasses are supplied. Please bring reusable dish gloves to protect your hands and wear long sleeves. We also suggest that you bring along a face mask for the mixing portion of the workshop. Children must be over 13 years and come with one adult per child. Children over 16 years old are fine to come on their own.
