Please note: This is NOT a beginners spoon carving workshop.

2nd Thursday of each month, Feb-Nov: 6pm-9pm

Spoon club is a place to practise and refresh your green wood carving skills with like-minded individuals. If you have attended a spoon carving workshop with us, or elsewhere, join this monthly spoon carving club and enjoy honing your spoon carving skills while encouraging others in their practice.

Spoon blanks can be provided for $12.50 each, purchasable with cash or via bank deposit on the night. 

Please note: Bookings and advanced spoon blank orders are essential, including for those that have already purchased an annual membership.

  • $10 for casual bookings
  • $60 annual membership

 

Cancellation

Bookings are Non-refundable 

If for any reason (this includes illness, COVID, travel delays and injuries) you need to cancel your workshop, you will receive a refund minus a $30 administration fee. This is provided you contact us at least 14 full days before your booking

Douglas has taught spoon carving since 2017 and specialises in hand-carved, functional items such as spoons and bowls, as well as having an interest in chair-making and other green wood traditions. He also has a growing interest in tool making - forging his own tools from high carbon steel. Douglas is teaching spoon carving and sharpening, and his kuksa workshop is new in 2024.
