Or perhaps you want to turn a dress into a skirt? Be resourceful and come along to learn how you can get more out of the clothes you love.

We are grateful to be able to offer this workshop because of support from Creative New Zealand, and from Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre.
Diana Duncan has been one of our regular teachers at Rekindle since 2019. Her work is usually based on weaving with natural materials that can be found right here in Ōtautahi. However before she was introduced to weaving she studied fashion design technology and worked for several years in clothing repairs and alterations. Diana has always enjoyed working with her hands, problem solving and the thrill of making something new and functional again. She is keen to share her knowledge so that others can experience the pride and satisfaction that can come from taking care and making the most of the clothes they have.
